Community Forestry: Trees and People - John G. Bene Fellowship

This fellowship provides financial assistance to Canadian graduate students conducting research on community forestry in developing countries.

Community Service Bursary

This bursary provides a post-secondary tuition credit to grade 11 and grade 12 high school students who work as volunteers in non-profit, non-political organizations.

Destination Clic

The Destination Clic program offers bursaries to Canadian francophone students who reside in a province or territory other than Quebec to participate in a three-week intensive language-learning course in French at accredited institutions.

EDC International Business Scholarships

EDC awards up to 30 scholarships annually, 25 of which go to undergraduate university or college students interested in pursuing a career or furthering their studies in international business, with up to 5 additional scholarships for students in programs which combine business with environmental or sustainability studies. An EDC scholarship is worth a $4,000 cash award. Scholarships will be awarded in spring and issued in autumn at the start of the academic year.

Explore Program

The Explore program offers bursaries to Canadian students so that they can participate in intensive five-week language-learning courses in English or French at accredited institutions across Canada.

Federal Student Work Experience Program

FSWEP provides full-time students valuable, hands-on work experience related to their field of study and allows for a wealth of learning opportunities. Students obtain fair and equal access to job opportunities across the country. Although students are not required to have previous work experience to apply, they must meet the program's eligibility criteria.

Funding

If you are a citizen or permanent resident of Canada, have completed or are about to complete a bachelor's degree, or are already pursuing a master's degree in the humanities or social sciences, you may be eligible to apply for a master's scholarship.

Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarships Program - Master's Scholarships

The Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarships Program - Master's Scholarships provides funding to students who are pursuing full-time studies at the master's level in the social sciences and humanities field.

Legal Excellence Program

The Legal Excellence Program, which is offered in two phases, provides employment opportunities to law students, articling law students, and junior lawyers and notaries.

Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP)

This plan enables registered retirement savings plan participants to temporarily withdraw tax-free funds from their RRSP to finance training or education.

NRC Co-op Program

The National Research Council Co-op Program offers work terms to post-secondary students so that they can acquire practical and professional work experience.

Odyssey - Full-Time Language Assistant Program

This program provides post-secondary students with the opportunity to work as full-time language assistants in educational settings across Canada.

Post-Secondary Student Support Program (PSSSP)

This program provides financial assistance to Status Indian and Inuit students who are enrolled in eligible post-secondary programs, which includes: community college and CEGEP diploma or certificate programs; undergraduate programs; and advanced or professional degree programs.

Prince Edward Island Debt Reduction Grant

This program provides a non-repayable grant to eligible persons who have completed a program of study at a recognized post-secondary institution.

Prince Edward Island Student Loans

This program provides financial assistance to help students meet the costs of post-secondary education.

The Off-Campus Work Permit Program

The Off-Campus Work Permit Program allows certain foreign students to work off campus while completing their studies.

The Post-Graduation Work Permit Program

The Post-Graduation Work Permit Program allows students who have graduated from a participating Canadian post-secondary institution to gain valuable Canadian work experience.

Undergraduate Student Research Awards Program

Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA) are meant to stimulate your interest in research in the natural sciences and engineering. They are also meant to encourage you to undertake graduate studies and pursue a research career in these fields. If you would like to gain research work experience that complements your studies in an academic setting, these awards can provide you with financial support through your host university. NSERC encourages qualified Aboriginal students to apply to this program.

University College Entrance Preparation Program (UCEPP)

This program is intended to provide financial assistance to Status Indian and Inuit students enrolled in university or college entrance programs to help them achieve the academic level required to enter degree or diploma programs.
