Seniors Eyeglass Program

This program provides financial assistance to seniors (aged 65 and over) to help with the cost of prescription eyewear once every three year period or more often if there is a change in the prescription.

Children's Hearing Aid Program

This program provides financial assistance to Manitoba residents under age 18 to help with the cost of a hearing aid.

Telecommunications Program

This program provides financial assistance to persons who are profoundly deaf or speech-impaired to help with the cost of specialized telecommunications equipment.

Interim Federal Health Program

The Interim Federal Health Program provides temporary health insurance to refugees, protected persons and refugee claimants, as well as to their dependants, in Canada who are not yet covered by a provincial or territorial health insurance plan.

Primary Caregiver Tax Credit

Manitobans who act as the primary caregivers for family members or others may now be eligible for a tax credit. This credit recognizes the vital support caregivers provide to those needing care.

Out-of-Province Transportation Subsidy Program

This program provides a transportation subsidy to persons who have been referred outside the province for medical care.

Manitoba Home Care Program

This program provides home support to qualifying individuals who require health services or assistance with daily living.

Personal Care Home Placement

The Personal Care Home Placement program was designed for people who can no longer remain safely at home even with home care services; and for which services can be provided more effectively, safely and economically in a personal care home.

This program provides services to eligible adults with a mental disability.

Orthopaedic Shoes Program

This program provides financial assistance to Manitoba residents under the age of 18 to help with the cost of orthopedic shoes.
