Residential Adaptation Assistance Program (RAAP)

This program helps people with disabilities to cover the cost of making their homes accessible.

Residential Rehabilitation Assistance Program (RRAP) On-Reserve

This program provides funding to First Nation councils and members so that they can repair on-reserve housing that does not meet minimum federal health and safety standards, or make homes accessible to persons with disabilities.

Visual Device Program

This program loans visual devices to persons with visual impairments. Persons must be insured under the Quebec Insurance Plan.

Federal Excise Gasoline Tax Refund Program

The Federal Excise Gasoline Tax Refund Program refunds a portion of the federal excise tax on gasoline bought for use by eligible persons or organizations.

Rent Supplement Program

The Rent Supplement program helps people on low incomes, people with disabilities and people living in difficult circumstances, such as women who are victims of violence, to rent a private-sector dwelling or a housing unit belonging to a housing cooperative or non-profit organization. The conditions for the program are similar to those governing low-rental housing.
