Ontario Hepatitis C Assistance Plan

This program provides financial assistance to eligible individuals who contracted the Hepatitis C virus (HCV) through the blood system in Ontario, or through an infected spouse, partner, or parent who received blood or blood products in Ontario before December 31, 1985 or between July 2, 1990 and September 28, 1998.

  • If you have received compensation in excess of $25,000 under the Hepatitis C January 1, 1986 - July 1, 1990 Class Actions Settlement, you will not be eligible to receive financial assistance under this program.
